The 8" primary of this Newton offers 78% more light than a 150mm and 137% more light as a 130mm Telescope. This much more light is usefull by observing Deep-Sky fields. Its 9x50 mm Finder have enough closing for finding and pointing Objects you search.
The EQ5 Pro mounts use the same Go-To system found in the HEQ5 and EQ6 Pros-- SynScan. It allows you to point the telescope at a specific object or even tour the skies at the touch of a button.
